Abstract
This Regulation applies to Norwegian and foreign commercial fishing vessels of any type and support vessels including vessels for experimental fishing and exploration. It completely prohibits the fishing for capelin in the areas defined in Act No. 11 of 1925 concerning Svalbard. Infringement, caused by either intentional or negligent behaviour, shall be punished in accordance with section 4 of Act No. 11 of 1925. Assistance in fishing or attempt to fish shall be regarded as fishing.
