This Regulation sets rules for the protection of "Skjørost fra Røros-traktene", a traditional Norwegian cheese from the Røros area, as a geographical indication. Products complying with the specifications contained in Article 3 can use the designation "Skjørost fra Røros-traktene" together with the corresponding logo for geographical indications. Annex 1 describes the product's origin and link with the geographical area. Annex 2 contains a map and describes the limits of the Røros area.
