Abstract
The purpose of the present Regulation is to compensate for the losses and consequential costs of the reindeer husbandry when domesticated reindeer are killed or injured by predators. The regulation shall also contribute to reducing the losses of domesticated reindeer. Compensation is given for the following animal categories: 1) Sled reindeer; 2) Bull; 3) Female reindeer; and 4) Calf. The Regulation contains 19 articles divided into the following chapters: I. General provisions; II. Likelihood of predator losses; III. Calculation of compensation; IV. Administration; V. Other provisions.
