Regulation No. 508 Regulation on the establishment of a restricted zone to combat highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI zone regulation).

The objective of the present Regulation is to to combat highly pathogenic avian influenza. The regulation is directed towards businesses and individuals who are present in the zones and their activities. It establishes a restricted zone consisting of a conservation zone with a radius of 3 kilometers and a surveillance zone with a radius of 10 kilometers in the area described in the annex. The Regulation lays down rules on prohibited activities concerning birds and poultry.
