Regulation No. 522 on protection of the Chequered Blue Butterfly (Scolitantides orion).

The purpose of this Regulation is to protect the endangered species Scolitantides orion. Any form of removal, damage or destruction of the species is prohibited. The Regulation applies to the ecological functions of this species and its breeding areas. For this purpose, drainage of wetlands and cultivation is prohibited to ensure protection of the animals. The conservation action plan shall be established with guidelines for management, maintenance and other necessary measures to preserve the species' ecological role.
