Abstract
This Regulation promotes the development and application of energy-related products during use, energy-efficient and low resource usage. It establishes both general and product-specific rules on information to end-users, particularly in terms of labeling and standard product information on energy-related products so that end-users are given the opportunity to choose more efficient products. The document additionally ensure the free movement of energy-related products within the European Economic Area (EEA).
