Abstract
This Regulation establishes rules for reporting chemicals to the national product register. It applies to producers and importers in Norway handling 100 kg or more of certain chemicals annually. These entities must declare detailed information—including composition, classification, usage, and quantities—through an electronic system managed by the Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet). The Regulation outlines who must declare, what must be declared, applicable exemptions, and associated fees. Authorities are empowered to monitor compliance, impose fines, and grant exemptions, with provisions for appeals and penalties for violations.
