Abstract
The present regulation complements the Animal Health Regulation with provisions on the registration, certification and approval of hatcheries, facilities with terrestrial animals, supply chains, transporters and other operators. The Regulation also includes provisions on record keeping and traceability of terrestrial animals and hatching eggs. The Regulation consists of 57 sections divided into the following chapters: I. Scope of application, definitions and implementation; II. Supplementary national provisions on registration, certification and approval of facilities and supply chains; III. Supplementary national provisions on record keeping; IV. Supplementary national provisions on the identification and marking of cattle, sheep, goats, swine, camelids, deer, dogs, cats, ferrets, parrot birds and honey bees; V. Supplementary national provisions on documents that must accompany sheep, goats or swine that are transported in Norway; VI. Supplementary national provisions on registration of information on cattle, pigs, sheep and goats in the Norwegian Food Safety Authority's database; VII. Supplementary national provisions on the traceability of equine animals; VIII. Administrative decisions. The Annex lays down the program for monitoring Newcastle disease in poultry farms.
