Abstract
The present Regulation establishes a subsidy scheme for Sámi reindeer herders corporations ("siidaandel" in Norwegian) and reindeer herding. Its purpose is to promote sustainable reindeer herding, quality and productivity, as well as increasing the sector's income. Detailed rules are included specifying the eligibility requirements for subsidies. Special subsidies are included for youth, women and business consolidation.
