Abstract
The present Regulation establishes a subsidy scheme aimed at contributing to an increased understanding in children and youth of the sustainable use of natural resources in uncultivated land ("utmark" in Norwegian). These are lands that are not tilled and that are not considered to be equivalent to cultivated land under the Outdoor Recreation Act. The scheme emphasises the promotion of hunting-based outdoor activities and wild fauna and flora as a harvestable resource. The scheme is available for non-governmental entities registered in the Norwegian Entity Registry.
