Regulation No. 997 on the protection of "Hardangerpærer" as a protected geographical indication.

This Regulation sets rules for the protection of the designation "Hardangerpærer", a traditional Norwegian pear from Hardanger, as a protected geographical indication (PGI). Products complying with the specifications contained in Article 3 can use the designation "Hardangerpærer" together with the PGI logo. The Annex describes the product's origin and link with the geographical area.
