Abstract
These Regulations prescribe requirements of notification on groundwater drilling and survey activities to the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU). The aim of the Regulations is to gather public information about groundwater resources. The requirement of notification shall apply to anyone who performs or implements drilling and anyone who conducts other survey of groundwater and prepares a report on that survey. All information that is submitted to NGU in the notification will be available to the public. In some cases, NGU can decide that information shall be treated confidentially for a period of time.
