Regulations relating to implementation in Norwegian law of EEA Agreement Annex IV item 1 (Council Regulation (EEC) No 1056/72 of 18 May 1972) on notification of investment projects of interest to the European Economic Area in the petroleum, natural gas and electricity sector (No. 1065 of 1992).

These Regulations require notifications, as described in article 2 of the Council Regulation (EEC) No 1056/72, regarding investment projects relating to the production, transport, storage or distribution of petroleum, natural gas or electric power, to be submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Energy before 16 January each of year. As for the electricity sector, the reports shall be made to the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Administration.
