Agriculture and Forestry University Act, 2067 (Act No. 3 of 2010).

This Act establishes the Agriculture and Forestry University to conduct study, teaching and research in an integrated manner in the areas of Agriculture and Forestry. Chapter 2 provides for formation of the University and chapter 3 lays down the organisational structure and officials of the University. Chapters 4, 5 and 6 contain the constitution, functions, powers and duties of the Senate, Academic Council and Executive Council, respectively. Chapter 7 provides for the faculty and research centre. Chapter 8 establishes a service commission for appointment and promotion of the teachers and employees of the University. Chapter 9 makes provisions for various officials and their functions and duties. Chapter 11 provides for conferring of degree and certificate, qualification for admission and requires the University to act in accordance with the National Education Policy approved by Government of Nepal.
