Bird Flu Control Regulations, 2078 (2022).

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 33 of the Animal Health and Livestock Services Act, 2055. They provide for formation of a Bird Flu Control Coordinating Committee (Committee) to carry out technical work in coordination with other agencies. The composition of the Committee and its functions, duties and powers are laid down. Further, in each district, there shall be established a bird flu committee and the composition, functions, powers and duties of such committees is laid down. Further, provisions relating to sample collection, testing and monitoring, declaration of bird flu affected area, destruction, cleaning, disinfection and coordination with other countries is provided.
