Abstract
An Act to control the production, handling and placing on the market of feed for animals. Section 2, among other things, defines "contaminated feed". No person shall produce, sell, supply, export, import or store contaminated feed. Section 4 prohibits fraud and deceit in relation to sale of supply of animal feed. An animal Feed Inspector shall be appointed by the Government for purposes of this Act. The Inspector may seize suspected animal feed under section 6. Persons wishing to produce, sell, or supply animal feed shall obtain a licence in accordance with section 7. A Feed Standard Fixation Committee shall be created under section 12. The Committee shall be responsible for determination of standards for animal feed. (17 sections)
