Abstract
This Act provides for necessary arrangements relating to National Inclusion Commission (Commission) for the protection and promotion of the rights and interests of the communities including Khas Arya, backward class, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, laborers, farmers, minorities and marginalized communities, people of Karnali, backward areas and economically indigent class and the empowerment of such communities. The powers, functions and duties of the Commission, in addition to Article 259 of the Constitution are laid down. The Act contains provisions in respect of the operations and governance of the Commission.
