National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission Act, 2074 (Act No. 17 of 2017).

This Act provides for necessary arrangements relating to the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission (Commission). Chapter 2 contains the powers, duties and functions of the Commission, in addition to those contained in the Constitution. These include making recommendations in relation to the fiscal equalization grant, facilitating and providing assistance to resolve disputes between the governments relating to the distribution of revenues and making suggestions in relation to taxes and the protection and utilization of Natural Resources. Chapter 3 provides for operations of the Commission. Chapter 4 lays down the various bases to be considered by the Commission in determining the investment to be made in relation to the mobilization of natural resources, distribution of revenues and making recommendations for grants. Chapter 5 contains provisions for the governance of the Commission.
