Nepal Pharmacy Council Act, 2057 (Act No. 14 of 2000).

This Act provides for the establishment of Nepal Pharmacy Council and matters related to its governance and administration. Chapter 2 forms the Nepal Pharmacy Council (Council) and provides for its composition, term of office of the members, meetings and decision of the Council. It also lays down the functions, duties and powers of the Council. Chapter 3 prohibits any person from carrying on the pharmacy profession without registration with the Council. It lays down the procedure for registration and issuance of registration certificate. Chapter 4 contains provisions relating to recognition of educational degrees and certificates, and inspection of examination system of educational institutes. Chapter 5 lays down the duties and functions of chairperson and registrar of the Council. Chapter 6 provides for the fund of the Council. Chapter 7 lays down the offences and penalties and provides for the dissolution of the Council by the government.
