Nepal Water Supply Corporation Act, 2046 (1989).

This Act concerns the establishment of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation "for the purpose of supplying drinking water on a regular basis and making appropriate arrangements for sewerage system". The Corporation shall have the power to determine fees for the supply of drinking waters and enter houses and premises for the purpose of investigations, even without advance notice, in case of reasonable suspect of abuse or pilferage of water. Other provisions concern: the formation and the rules of procedure of the Board of Directors; accounts and audit of the Corporation; offences; etc.
