Abstract
Rules made under the Forests Act, relative to privately owned forests and related matters. Any landowner who wishes to create of forest on his land and avail himself of seed and planting materials and technical supplied to him free of charge, shall apply for registration of the private forest in the form as set out in the Schedule to these Rules to the District Forest Office, A certificate of registration shall be issued. The forest owner can freely dispose of forest produce from his forest. The District Office shall maintain an inventory of private forests registered under these Rules. Intention of deforestation of a private forest shall be notified to the District Office. (11 rules and 3 Schedules)
