Abstract
This Order concerns the establishment of the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve Development Board, whose duties shall be to increase the supply and quality of drinking water in order to favour the conservation and development of the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. To these ends the Board shall : (a) carry out forest demarcation in the area; (b) fence the area; (c) construct embankment, roads and scenic spots; (d) plant trees and implement soil conservation programs; (e) recruit necessary staff. The Board may create the Protection, Rehabilitation, Plantation and Village Development and Public Relation Sub-committees, whose duties and responsibilities shall be assigned by the Board. Final provisions concern, inter alia, the rules of procedure of the Board and its sub-committees, the Board fund and the auditing procedures.
