Abstract
This amendment inserts section 2 to the basic Act. There are provisions relating to the territorial waters of Nauru as well as the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf. Nauru is defined as the 'Island of Nauru together with the internal waters and the territorial sea, the bed and subsoil beneath the internal waters and the territorial sea.'
