Abstract
The Constitution of Niue consists of two documents: the Niue Constitution Act 1974 (which deals with the relationship of partnership that exists between the states of Niue and New Zealand); the Constitution of Niue itself, which provides the key rules for the Government of Niue. The Constitution was edited, updated and reprinted on 31 December 2019.
The Constitution consists of the following Parts: I) The Executive Government of Niue; II) The Legislative Government of Niue; III) The Judiciary; IV) The Public Revenues of Niue; V) Health, education and other social services; VI) The Niue Public Service; VII) Transitional provisions; VIII) Interpretation.
