Abstract
These Regulations amend the Biosecurity (Ruminant Protein) Regulations 1999.
New definitions have been inserted or substituted in regulation 2. Minor amendments have been made to regulation 5 which deals with the preparation of ruminant control programmes. New regulations have been inserted as follows: regulation 12A addressing registration costs; regulation 17A on irrigation with wastewater from premises where ruminant protein is rendered, stored or used; regulation 18A dealing with strict liability offences.
