Abstract
These Regulations set out the various requirements in relation to the Registry established under the Climate Change Response Act 2002.
The purpose of the Registry is to ensure the accurate accounting of the issue, holding, transfer, retirement, and cancellation of the various units; and facilitate the implementation, operation, and administration of a greenhouse gas emissions trading scheme in New Zealand that assists New Zealand in meeting its international obligations. The text consists of 23 Articles and one Schedule.
