Abstract
These Regulations amend the Dairy Industry (Herd Testing and New Zealand Dairy Core Database) Regulations 2001.
Amendments have been made to: regulation 3 by revoking or inserting definitions; regulation 5 on restrictions on herd testing; regulation 7 on supply of data to the Livestock Improvement Corporation Limited (LIC); regulation 10 by substituting it with a new regulation on dairy herd testing standards; regulation 28(3) by substituting it with a new clause relating to offences and penalties for obstructing an auditor; Schedule 2 by substituting it with a new Schedule; Schedule 3 by changing the description of the land areas in the regions; Schedule 4 by including a provision that protects the members of the Panel from personal liability; and Schedule 5 by adding a clause which requires the Panel to provide an audited annual report to the chief executive of the Ministry.
Minor word changes have been made to regulations 6, 8, 16(a) and to Schedule 1.
