Abstract
These Regulations amend the Fisheries (Commercial Fishing) Regulations 2001.
The amendments include: changes to the heading of regulation 53 by omitting “rock lobster and other fish” and substituting “fish”; addition of a new subclause (2) to regulation 53 setting out requirements for the labelling of containers holding eels taken by commercial fishers; and minor changes to regulation 84 that are consequential upon the introduction of the new measures.
