Abstract
These Regulations set out the returns that are required to be provided to the chief executive of the Ministry of Fisheries by commercial fishers and licensed fish receivers.
The Regulations set out the different kinds of returns, the persons who are required to provide them, and the times or periods by or for which they must be completed and provided. In addition, the Regulations deal with the inventory and audit of licensed fish receivers.
Furthermore, the Regulations set out provisions relating to returns and detailed requirements in relation to the manner in which returns are to be completed. A person must provide separate returns for each vessel or method of fishing and, if demanded by the chief executive or a fishery officer, they must be produced for inspection.
The Regulations further provide for: electronic transmission of returns; offences and penalties; and for 3 Schedules that contain contents of audit report, forms, and codes used in completing returns.
