Abstract
These Regulations amend the Fisheries (Satellite Vessel Monitoring) Regulations 1993 by revoking the definition of “type approval” in regulations 2, revoking regulation 5 and by omitting in regulations 6(1) and 8(1)(b)(i) the requirement for automatic location communicators to be of an approved type, and substituting the requirement for them to comply with standards and requirements specified by circular issued under regulation 4(1) of the Regulations.
