Abstract
These Regulations shall apply to persons taking or possessing any fish, other than commercial fishers possessing fish under a permit, within the Southland and Sub-Antarctic Fishery Management areas.
These Regulations make provision for the following: maximum daily quotas and minimum sizes for fish; minimum net mesh sizes; areas in which it shall be prohibited to set nets; prohibition to take and possess red coral; areas in which it shall be prohibited to fish; and for offences and penalties.
Entry into force notes
These Regulations enter into force 28 days after the date of their notification in the Gazette.
