Abstract
The Fuel Industry Regulations 2021 document outlines the requirements and regulations that must be followed by individuals and businesses operating in the fuel industry in New Zealand. It covers various aspects such as the disclosure of information to the Commission, pricing requirements, and storage capacity reporting. One key requirement is the display of standard retail prices for different types of engine fuels at retail fuel sites. This information must be visible to individuals in motor vehicles passing by the site. Additionally, wholesale suppliers are required to publicly post terminal gate prices and contact details for fuel supply requests. The document also details the information that must be recorded and disclosed to the Commission, including sales data, revenue, pricing, and storage capacity at bulk storage facilities. Fuel importers are required to disclose this information quarterly. Furthermore, the regulations outline the process for initiating mediation in case of disputes related to the fuel industry. The text consists of 24 Articles divided into 4 Parts and has one Schedule.
