Abstract
This Notice provides for the creation of the Catlins marine mammal sanctuary along a part of the south coast of the South Island, and restricts seismic surveys in the sanctuary. The sanctuary includes areas where Hector's dolphins are found.
The Notice includes all the areas of the sea enclosed within the Catlins Coast and a map of the sanctuary.
