National Parks (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 73 of 2001).

Section 6 of the principal Act declares specified existing national parks to be national parks under and subject to the provisions of this Act. By virtue of Order in Council, one of those parks, the Urewera National Park is now called Te Urewera National Park.
