Abstract
The principal amendments this Act introduces are to modify the definition of the term "pesticide" to include organisms, active ingredients or manufacturing concentrates. Section 21 of the principal Act, which prohibits the sale of unregistered pesticides, is repealed and substituted with new provisions which enlarge the prohibition to the importation, selling or application for reward of unregistered pesticides. A new provision on the duration of registration is inserted which states that registrations shall be valid unless and until they are revoked by the Pesticides Board.
