Abstract
The Regulations serves as a comprehensive guide for individuals navigating the process of protecting their plant varieties. It covers procedural and evidential requirements, outlines consequences for non-compliance, and provides clarity on the steps involved in filing documents and requesting hearings. The Regulations further provides for guidelines for the examination and testing of plant varieties to ensure they meet distinctness, uniformity, and stability criteria. The text provides definitions of the rights conferred to plant breeders and the obligations they must meet to maintain these rights and the duration of plant variety rights and the process for renewing these rights. The text consists of 125 Articles divided into 3 main parts.
