Abstract
Pursuant to the Health Act 1956, these Regulations aim at the protection of the public water supply by: (a) prescribing permits and certain installation requirements for backflow prevention devices and (b) providing rules which relate to the use of toxic substances, introduction of other water in the main water supply, private installations and the identification of water pipes. (18 regulations and a Schedule)
