Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 45 articles, aims at: organizing fish markets and related controls; regulating fish and fish products trading; providing fish and fish products in the markets; and encouraging the free competition in the fish trading avoiding the monopoly, in coordination with the competent authorities. It establishes that: the fish trading is allowed only in places established by the market management; farmed and imported fish and fish products can be traded after obtaining a permit and specifying some required information; trading in fish and fish product needs a medical certificate from the competent authority to ensure absence of infectious diseases. The Regulation deals also with licenses, rules of issuing and duration, duties of the licensed people.
Section III regards the Market management and covers the market monitoring in terms of hygiene and safety of the marketed products. Section IV deals with fish and fish products trading systems divided in wholesaling system and retail system. The Regulation ends with inspection measures and penalties.
