Ministerial Decree No. 29/2004 issuing the Regulations on vehicles for the transport and the marketing of living aquatic resources.

This Decree lays down Regulations concerning the transport of live fish and other aquatic organisms. The Regulations give details concerning the obtainment of licences for the vehicles transporting living aquatic resources. Technical specifications of the container cars are given in this text to grant the quality of the products. The Regulations set forth health requirements for the transport of the living aquatic resources. These health requirements aim to prevent the spread of infections and diseases ant to protect the living aquatic resources from pollution. A regular check of the conditions of the vehicles shall be done and samples of the transported living aquatic resources have to be tested. Any violation of norms and standards will be sanctioned.
