Ministerial Resolution No. 151/2007 issuing the regulation to support production supplies and equipment and agricultural and animal guidance programs.

This Regulation consisting of 16 articles outlines the Ministry’s framework for supporting agricultural and animal production equipment and supplies. It provides financial support, prioritizing social security beneficiaries and those actively engaged in farming and animal breeding. The Regulation establishes eligibility conditions, sets limits on the amount of support, and provides detailed procedures for applying for support. The Ministry also offers free advisory, diagnostic, and veterinary services to assist farmers and animal breeders across the Sultanate. In addition, beneficiaries must sign a pledge to maintain and preserve the subsidized equipment and not dispose of it for five years.
Support is granted for agricultural and animal production supplies and equipment according to the categories and details listed, respectively, in Schedule A and B, whereas free support for the supplies of extension programs in the agricultural and animal sectors is provided according to the categories and details listed in Schedule C. Support for agricultural and animal production supplies and equipment is also granted to individuals and social security families at a rate of 75% of the original value, provided that the applicant has a valid social security card and works in agriculture or animal husbandry (article 6). Under Article 8, priority for support is given to farmers or animal breeders who directly manage their agricultural or animal activities, either personally or through family members. Additionally, priority is given to those providing services to other farmers or breeders.
