Ministerial Resolution No. 83/2022 amending some provisions of the Food Safety Regulations.

This Resolutiont, consisting of 2 articles, aims to limit the use of trans-fatty acids in the country's diet. To this end, it adds a new provision to point 14 of the Annex concerning "Violations and Administrative Fines." This new provision establishes a 1000 Omani Riyal fine for the production, importation, or marketing of partially hydrogenated oils and any food products containing them.
