Resolution No. 34/2026 to issue the Risk Management and Business Continuity Regulations in the Electricity and Related Water Sector.

This Resolution, comprising 6 articles, requires the licensee to develop and implement an integrated system combining risk management and business continuity to ensure that licensed activities can continue under all circumstances, including emergencies and disruptions. This system must be completed and submitted to the Authority for Public Services Regulation for approval within 6 months from either the date the regulation comes into force or the date the license is granted. Article 3 requires the system to cover risk management, business continuity, and compliance by assessing risks, maintaining and testing plans, ensuring minimum service during disruptions, allocating resources, and submitting annual reports to the Authority demonstrating compliance. Violations may incur fines, doubled for repeat offenses within 2 years.
