Royal Decree No. 47 of 1989 establishing the national committee on the use of Al Bhatina water.

This Royal Decree is composed of 6 articles. Article 1 establishes a committee called the National Committee for the use of Al Bhatina Water. The duty of this committee is to set forth plans to present the government’s campaign to develop water sources and protect them. It is also to find effective participation by the citizens in working towards optimal use of water sources in the Bhatina region for the sake of promoting agriculture.
Article 2 describes the membership of this committee and their roles. The consulting office of His Majesty the Sultan is concerned with economic planning (art. 3).
Article 5 states that the work of the Committee is to finish by the end of December 1989.
