Royal Decree No. 48/84 establishing the Planning Commission on Development and Environment in the Southern Region.

This Decree establishes the “Planning Commission on Development and Environment” which is a Ministerial Committee derived from the Development Board. The Commission will prepare a comprehensive plan for land use and for the coordination in all areas of development in the Southern Region. The Commission will have administrative and financial autonomy necessary for the achievement of its objectives.
In addition, the Decree states the rules and conditions regulating the Commission.
