Abstract
This Decree consisting of 4 articles aims at issuing the Statute of the fund to finance the Research on Fisheries. The Statute consists of 12 articles. Purpose of the fund is promoting the researches on fisheries to develop the sector (the kinds of researches are specified in the text). It is presided by a Board guided by the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, with political, legislative and administrative tasks. The Fund’s money is managed by the Oman Bank for Agriculture and Fisheries. The Decree deals also with: entities eligible to submit research proposals; researches directly financed by the companies; rules to change the funding for research projects.
