Abstract
This Decree establishes the legislative framework applicable to maritime navigation in the territorial waters of Oman.
The Decree sets out rights and obligations related to sea-going vessels divided into 8 sections: General provisions; Establishment, management and use of harbours; Requirements for the operation of vessels in territorial waters; Rules and regulations on sailing in the territorial waters; Certificates of competency; Fees; Accidents; Maritime disasters and marine debris.
