Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulation 1973.

This Regulation prohibits the importation of any goods specified in the second column of Schedule 2. The main part of this Regulation (arts. 3 to 7) concerns the regulation of the importation of rice. It specifies standards of various types of rice and places restrictions on the importation of rice, i.e. allows only the importation of specified types of rice and allows importation of other types only when prior written permission has been obtained from the Minister or public other officers.
