Fauna (Protection and Control) (Amendment) Act 2014 (No. 3 of 2014).

This Act amends the Fauna (Protection and Control) Act in relation with the enactment of the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority Act 2014 and in respect of transfer of functions from the Minister to the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority, advisory functions of the Authority and offences related to the killing, etc. of protected fauna. The Managing Director of the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority shall be the Conservator of Fauna. Amendments also concern appeal against an act or decision of the Conservator.
