Abstract
A new long title is inserted: “to make provision for the protection, control, harvesting and destruction of fauna, and for other purposes. The definition of “fauna” is modified. A new Part VA makes provision for the declaration of Wildlife Management Areas by the Minister and the establishment of Wildlife Management Committees by the Minister in Wildlife Management Areas. A new section 29A allows the taking of protected fauna or fauna in protected areas for purposes to be specified by the Minister.
