Lea City Authority Act 2015 (No. 11 of 2015).

This Act concerns the administration of Lea City and establishes the Lae City Authority. It defines the functions and powers of the Authority and provides with respect to control of the Authority by the provincial government and the Provincial and Local-level Service Monitoring Authority. The Authority shall be governed by a Board. The Authority is primarily responsible for providing municipal services in the Lae area in accordance with a memorandum of understanding entered into by the Authority with the Lae Urban Local Level Government and the Rural Local-level Governments in the Province. Functions include pollution control.
